Key Responsibilities
Purchase Ledger: Assisting with processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements.
Sales Ledger: Supporting invoice generation, credit control, and account maintenance.
Bank Reconciliations: Ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and accounts are balanced.
Expense Management: Helping to process employee expenses in line with company policies.
Month-End Support: Assisting with basic tasks like journals, accruals, and prepayments.
Providing general administrative support to the finance team and assisting with ad-hoc reporting.
What We’re Looking For
Eager to start or grow a career in finance, whether as a recent graduate, school leaver, or career changer.
Basic understanding of finance concepts and a keen willingness to learn.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) is a plus but not essential.
Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent organisational skills.
AAT qualification (or willingness to study) is desirable but not essential.
