About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Labour Manager on behalf of a well-established organisation that supplies skilled labour to the civil engineering and construction industries. This company partners with tier 1 contractors such as BAM, Morgan Sindall, and VolkerFitzpatrick, and delivers workforce solutions on prestigious projects, including Sizewell.

You would be based around the Norwich, Ipswich, Yarmouth, Colchester or surrounding region, this role offers a mix of home-based and site-based work, providing flexibility while ensuring on-the-ground client support.
Pure about management – NOT about new business sales – although you would always be aware of any greater business opportunities and growth of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with tier 1 contractors and site teams.

  • Labour Management: Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring workers are site-ready with compliant PPE and training.

  • Problem-Solving: Act as the first point of contact for client and worker queries, providing swift resolutions.

  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and support internal labour management teams to deliver excellence.

  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintain accurate project documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in blue collar recruitment, labour management, within the civil engineering or construction sector.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

  • A proactive communicator who can engage with clients, workers, and internal teams.

  • Familiarity with health and safety requirements in construction.

  • A full UK driving licence.
